a podcast story

This is a story that I always think of as my Mr. Magoo moment.

Good story, nicely told! I got scared for you as I was listening, I'm glad it all turned out OK. I can imagine making a similar mistake myself - like the time I opted to take the bus to the airport instead of a taxi thinking I should save money. I didn't even consider the fact I was going to be sitting in the bus stop of a road they call London's murder mile at 3am with all of my suitcases and travel money until I was out there alone, feeling like a sitting duck!

Captivating story, I like the title too. I’m glad you got out all right. I imagine collecting such stories in podcasts for our children under "Life Lessons 101"

I got scared listening to that story too! We bought a new home, and I'm pretty comfortable with all the warranty service people around here. But, your story is a good reminder because you can never be too careful.
